Set sail in style on the world’s most luxurious yachts!

Luxurious, relaxing and utterly elegant, the world of yachting is an arena enjoyed by some of the world’s wealthiest individuals. And when it comes to yachts, they’re definitely not scared to splash their cash around like there’s no tomorrow. If you want a glimpse at the high life read on as we unveil five of the world’s most expensive yachts.

Al Said – US$300 million

Named after the Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said of Oman, this super yacht can house 70 guests as well as 154 crew members. At the time of construction it boasted status as the world’s second largest yacht and even featured a concert hall capable of housing a full size orchestra!

Superyacht A – US$323 million

Ringing in at a cool US$323 million, Superyacht A is owned by a Russian billionaire called Andrei Melchenko. It hosts just 14 guests yet is equipped with state-of-the-art features including three swimming pools, ultra-modern entertainment systems and a deluxe master suite.

Dubai – US$350 million

Currently owned by the Sheikh of Dubai, this luxurious yacht treats its 115 passengers to a swimming pool, spa, glass staircase and even a helicopter pad for a quick getaway!

Eclipse – US$450 – US$1.2 billion

While the exact cost of this yacht is not known we can confirm that it is undoubtedly eye-watering, with experts estimating a price tag of up to US$1.2 billion. Russian billionaire Roman Abromavich is the proud owner and has equipped his vessel with a state-of-the-art defence system. Eclipse even has its own private submarine!

Streets of Monaco – US$1 billion

 And the crown for the world’s most expensive yacht goes to Streets of Monaco, a ridiculously extravagant billion dollar project! While it technically hasn’t been constructed yet it will feature a go-kart track, man-made lake, private beach, Monaco Grand Prix track replica, casino, tennis courts and underwater viewing decks!
