Top new brews for 2015

As the world kisses goodbye to 2014 some of the world’s top breweries are already looking to the future. This year will see some fantastic new brews launched in 2015, including some home grown standouts. Want to know more? Read on for a list of some of the most exciting newcomers set to hit pubs over the next few months.

Breakside Brewery

Portland’s Breakside Brewery has started 2015 with a bang and released a grand total of five new beers. Lunch Break ISA and Amuse Saison have been welcomed as year-round brews while Tropicalia, Salted Caramel Stout and Juggling Plums Gose are limited edition winter releases. All are retailed in bottled form, bar Juggling Plums Gose which is a draft only beer. As an American Farmhouse ale infused with Peruvian peppers and lychee Tropicalia is one of our favourites, followed by the incredibly delicious sounding Salted Caramel Stout.

Camerons

This iconic North East brewing company celebrates its 150th anniversary this year and is marking the milestone occasion with a brand new selection of specially brewed beers. The company’s flagship Strongarm ‘Ruby Red’ and the recently developed Gold Bullion will continue to hold the fort, complemented by 12 guest beers designed to delight the contemporary punter. Martin Dutoy, Head Brewer at Camerons explains, “We have created a collection of 12 guest beers aimed at showcasing the brewery’s skill and versatility with styles as varied as red rye beer, milk stout and American Pale Ale – all aimed at giving the modern drinker great choice and quality.  There really is something for every discerning beer drinker.” One of the most exciting new developments is the announcement that the range will include a limited edition collaboration beer developed in conjunction with London based brewing company, Portobello.

Sierra Nevada

This year will see this high end US based brewing company unveil three brand new beers – the ultra-tangy Hop Hunter IPA, the wonderfully light Nooner Pilsner and the official springtime brew, Beer Camp Hoppy Lager. Thanks to the use of oil drawn from freshly steam distilled hops the IPA is pure, powerful and not for the faint hearted!

If you own a pub, adding these new brews to your taps in 2015 is sure to have punters streaming through the doors. Just remember that with increased custom comes the increased need to protect your business, your employees and your customers with a comprehensive pub insurance policy that covers the cost of any on-site accidents or injuries.
