There are only 39 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO models in circulation, each featuring handcrafted aluminium bodywork.  According to Ferrari enthusiasts, this baby was built in response to the release of the coveted Jaguar E-Type.

Lamborghini Veneno – US$4M

Released in honour of Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, this supercar is nothing short of spectacular. Veneno is Spanish for ‘poison’ and when it comes to these wheels, it’s a very appropriate name. The V12 engine delivers drivers 750 horsepower and can clock up zero to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds. Want one? Tough luck! The three hard top models and the nine roadsters are all accounted for by buyers with more cash than they could poke a stick at.

Mansory Vivre: Bugatti Veyron – US$3.4M

Launched in honour of legendary Italian racing car driver Meo Constantini, the Mansory Vivre packs a punch. The W16 engine delivers a mammoth 1,200 horsepower and can hit top speeds of 254mph. Talk about a supercar! With its streamlined design and sleek paint job, it’s more or less a work of art.

Ferrari La Ferrari – US$1.3M

As expected, this Italian beauty is a V12 boasting a 789 horsepower engine. Combine that with the state-of-the-art Kinetic Energy Recovery System and it offers 950hp worth of grunt! With the ability to reach 120mph in just seven seconds, it’s not for the fainthearted. If you had your heart set on one, you’ll have to think again as there are only 499 models, all of which have been snapped up!

McLaren P1 – US$1.1M

If you’ve got a cool US$1 million to spare, the latest McLaren model could be for you. A 3.8 litre twin-turbo V8 engine and on-board electric motor offers drivers a huge 903 horsepower and acceleration speed of zero to 60mph in under three seconds. There are just 375 on the planet though so get in quick!
